Comments : We worked on a strange background noise problem with the dye PMT signal.
Turned out we did not return to external triggering of the dye laser and so became
out of sync with the Rayleigh lidar. This caused noise from the Rayleigh lidar to
ripple through the dye laser signal. Once recognized all was fine. This delayed us
about 90 minutes from start time of Brent's radar run. The Rayleigh system ran
throughout and had a weak but persistent NLC through most of the night.
