Sondrestrom Lidar Operation Log

Operator(s) : A.Merkel
Purpose : Routine data taking, and practice for Aimee
Date(s) : 000530 - 000530
File(s) : L5300 - L5300
Comments : The skies are relatively clear. There may be some clouds coming in and out of the
field of view. Hopefully it will stay clear. The dye power was low, at 90 mJ for its
peak. This may or may not effect the Sodium signal.

It looks like the clouds are starting to get denser. It looks like this could be
another short data run. The clouds are really high cirrus. But it looks like some
lower cumulus are moving in. I will wait it out as long as possible.

the weather report doesn't look good. I am going to stop taking data.
