Sondrestrom Lidar Operation Log

Operator(s) : A.Merkel
Purpose : Looking for NLC and could be routine data collection if the clouds cooperate
Date(s) : 000604 - 000604
File(s) : L6040 - L6040
Comments : The sky is clear with few clouds. We installed the new bending mirror. It looks
like the count rate is better now for the Rayleigh signal. We are getting around
10.000 counts with the new mirror aligned. This is the count rare with no clouds.

This run is going pretty well We have had some clouds but the overall it is a good
data set. No NLCs so far.

This data run was pretty good. I think there is almost 4 hours of good data. The
clouds got to dense in the end.
