Sondrestrom Lidar Operation Log

Operator(s) : E.Guðmundsson
Purpose : Routine data collection
Date(s) : 001110 - 001111
File(s) : L11100 - L11112
Comments : Note wavelength data file times are 16 sec behing UT time (Data file time).

After the tuning scan test in can be concluded that the wavemeter reading should
be
589.159nm for max sodium signal. It would be a good idea for the next few runs
to tune a +-1 pm to verify the max wavelength. Judging by the Rayleigh counts
during the tuning test, the atmosphere was stable, at least no haze was interfering
with the test.

The topside of the Rayleigh profile looks a bit odd, it's like there is a break in the
profile at 85km where it takes a different slope towards zero counts at 98km
