Comments : Worked on the Rayleigh beam expander. The best result, based on the altitude
range it takes the chopper to cut through the beam, was estimeted to be arround
8km. The estimate for the sodium channel is about 5km.

The sodium tuning for the past few runs results in the following:
The wavemeter shows the maximum sodium return based on tuning in the range
from 589.157nm to 589.159nm. The wavemeter can drift within this range
during
an experiment so a change in the wavemeter readout over this range does not
seem
to warrant re-tuning the laser. It seems to be a good idea to do the maximum
sodium seek by tuning over this range at the begining of an run but then leave the
tuning alone for the remainder of the run.

At 8:45 the halfwaveplate tracking routing was initiated. Somhow the TX plate is
tracking in the wrong direction causing the Rayleigh channel data to be poor from
this time unitl the end of the experiment. Sodium data is unaffected.
