Sondrestrom Lidar Operation Log

Operator(s) : E.Guðmundsson, J.Jørgensen
Purpose : Routine data collection-Stratalert
Date(s) : 010216 - 010217
File(s) : L102160 - L102170
Comments : Note. the reciever has changes since the last run. The Al mirror is back in the
sodium Rx channel and the Rayleigh Rx mirror mount has changed as well. Some
alignment was done on the rayleigh channel.

The alignment of the Rayleigh channel seems to have been a succes. We are
getting full counts at 30 km with the iris at minimum.

The signal strength is to high at low altitude causing signal
induced noise. Have to push up the chopper open altitude.
L10216022:11:59The sodium delay is now at 3965usec and the fully open0EG
altitude on that setting is arround 12km judging from the
raw counts.

to verify in looking at the wevelength log fro the run.
