Comments : 04062001EG, Note the comment from 00:32. After the comment was made I
went into the Laser room to see if we were having some signal integrity problem.
The following observation/remedy was made:

The seed scope was hooked up to the photodiode for seeding observations and the
scope was triggered by the laser Q-SW out. The photodiode signal was teed off
from the scope and into the Rayleigh SR430 for trigger puposes. This bad way
of
connecting things effectively connected the ground of the laser to the ground of
the RX system, enabling the laser ground bounce to couple into the receiver.

I did remove the seed laser scope hookup at the time but failed to mention it in
the
logsheet. This eliminated the strange profile.

The seed scope setup must be an isolated setup (or the current config
disconnected)
during ops.
