Purpose : Test of the rayleigh system after lamp test.

Comments : During the last run the rayleigh laser/receiver began showing signal fluctuations
@30km that the sodium system did not show. this meant that there was
something
wrong with the rayleigh system. As the rayleigh laser flashlamps were at 27
million shots, all the flash lamps were replaced. The flaky amplifier trimpot was
replaced in the process. The energy did not seam to come up to the usual 580mJ
after the lamp replacement. In order to see if the signal from the Rayleigh system
was varying as it was during the last run, this test was done. Conditions were not
so
good , a bit claudy, but the Reyleigh signal variations correlated nicely with the
variations in the sodium channel. This indicates that the fluctuations are gone but
the energy question remands to be addresed. This will be done the next clear
night.
