Sondrestrom Lidar Operation Log

Operator(s) : E.Gudmundsson
Purpose : Data collection and test using ArcLite4meteor 150 recs/scan, 1500scans/file
Date(s) : 981007 - 981008
File(s) : L9810071 - L9810072
Comments : An operator error caused the sodium records to be 15 secs instead of the intended
5
secs. This was because the operator forgot to change the sodium records/scan to
50recs/scan. At around 02:00 UT this mistake was corrected but no fileincrement
was made (sorry Jeff). There was probably a sporadic layer around 02:15 UT.
